I know we're D-max people but I have a buddy tearing into his 6.7. He is installing his HS dpf delete programmer and was wondering where to set the safety for max boost. My question is what is the max boost that engine can handle safely stock. Thanks p.s any tips or suggestions you guy's might have for this install we are all ears :):happy2:

Well my neighbor Bo Layne from Shieds Diesel says 40 psi is a good max but they will with stand 50 psi for a little while but if he is worryed about it just torque his head studs down more and he should be fine because he has seen stock head studs when torqued right handle 80 psi but make sure that the head studs all torque the same if he has one that doesnt wanna torque down as much as the rest just replace it with a new stock one and im not 100% for sure but I think he torques um down to like 90 ft lbs then turn them 3/4 of a turn then wait a little while then go torque them some more I think there is a manual called garmons handbook or something you will just have to do some research hope this helps
