Question: 6.7 Cummins Dpf delete

Sorry guy's I dont know who else to ask. My buddy has a 07 dodge that he wants to mod. we are looking @ what his options are so far as an exhaust kit ( he wants a turbo back). If he buy's a dpf tuner( to clear all the b.s)all he has to do is get an exhaust kit for an 06 right it should hook up to the down pipe and should be the proper lenght right? Also he is going mild for now , does he have to buy any little parts to make this work? I'm hoping its like the dmax lmm, you just buy the tuner and get an exhaust kit fo an 06 or 07. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :thumb:

be careful! iirc SOME, not all of the 6.7 cummins ecms will irreversibly lock if you go in to modify them or re flash them or something like that... will try to find the place where i read it..

An exhaust for a 5.9 CR will work just fine. H+S Performance has some great products and excellent customer service. They also make a nice egr delete.:thumb:

Is there anything he has too plug or plug into some type of fooler? I'm just wondering where all the wires for al the sensors go and the line that squirts diesel in to de soot the dpf. I want him to have a good clean mod. Besides maybe having to do some of that it should just be gutting the old exhaust and bolting up a kit for an 06 and tuning it right? I'm probably going to do most of it for him.:spit:
