I figured I'd post this up to see what people think of it. Put these rims and tires on it he other day. They were on a friends duramax, they didn't look the best on there. Had quite a few comments that they look good on this truck.

I've got an hx35 from a friend just have to go pick it up. I've wanted this truck for 4 years. My friend dusty was moving to Oklahoma An finally gave in so he wouldn't have to haul it back. He said he would never sell it, would drive it til the wheels fell off an push it aside. He was pretty bummed to sell her.

That's how I feel about the 98 in my signature. I use it for work daily in the summer but park it as soon as salt hits the road. Last spring I swapped a Chinese HX40 on it and it is a completely different truck. No lag or smoke on the factory tune and now keeps making power until the limiter. I installed a 3 bar Map sensor for now to get rid of the over boost code but should probably get it tuned.

Mind posting some pics up I like to see. I drive mine daily as well and it gets better mileage then my duramax does.

Its been on my to do list for about 13,000 miles. I just need to crush the 4" exhaust pipe I used to connect the silicone hoses. Silicone makes a great insulator there is no way 12V is going to jump through those hoses.

Troy those wheels doesn't look too bad! We will be getting new either BFG or Toyo tires on our next change.

BMC that looks good except the battery positive wire too close.

Thanks for the compliments. I need to get to the turbo on it soon, since the oil drain is leaking. Ol pmd has been getting worse and worse so on the to do list.

I had to post this. It's meant to be funny, but the duramax cover just fits so well. Who knew a lb7 cover would fit and still have access to the fuel filter. Yes the truck needed a new air filter it's pvc, but works for now.
