I've got a ccsb with a 100 gallon fuel tank in the bed. It goes back to the front of the wheel Wells. I was thinking of putting a 5th wheel hitch in the back but I'm not sure if it'll fit with the tank in the back. Does anyone have a short bed with a fuel tank and 5th wheel? If not how far forward do the rails and everything go? A buddy of mine is wanting me to haul his camper for him and he's gonna buy me a 5th wheel hitch for doing it. Thanks in advance everyone.

Mine comes too far forward to have an in bed tank. Look at a b & w hitch setup, i think they might have shorter rails but I'm not 100% on that.

do not have picts with both installed but the holes are for the rails that the hitch fits onto, the front of the hitch is about even with the holes

Yes, if you get the rite 5th wheel hitch...I have a 55 gallon with pump on it under a bed cover and still had spacing for the Hi Jacker 16k and then change it out for the Super Glide [only way to go]...all in a short bed Dmax....:happy2: camper..

Thanks for the replies guys. My tank is low profile and comes back about 4 inches past the wheel wells (it has notches cut out to clear them.) I think if I do anything I'll get a gooseneck and call it a day. I just had a buddy that needed his fifth wheel hauled and was going to buy me a hitch to do it.
