Looking for a cheap programmer to clear engine light. Just did egr delete and engine light is on. Really don't need any more power because truck is so heavy and I'm worried about the trans. Just want light gone. Thanks

You can't just clear the light. You need to have EGR disabled in the ECU tuning.

EFI Live get some tunes it will help. That what you need.

have one of the reputable efilive tuners do a single towing tune which would clear the egr code and do that truck some good since its so large

Really the only way to get rid of the check engine light is to get the tuner that can keep the light from coming back on with an egr code. Efilive is the best one that will do that.

With efilive you can choose exactly what you want the tuner to give you including a tune specifically for towing.
