Big shout out to Mark, Dave, Larry, and rest of the crew over at Danville Performance for a great past Friday on their engine dyno.

Needed an exact HP@RPM figure on a customers marinized Duramax to supply his jet pump manufacture. Engine is setup for higher RPM longevity, and nowhere near the power levels Danville's accustom to tuning. Likely first time anyone's ask Mark to tune [out] more and more power after each run in quite some time... :spit:

Final uncorrected power was set at 542hp@3200R / 1019ft-lbs@2400R, 1300F EGT.

Really nice working with seasoned professionals. In and out under eight hours including lunch.

That's nice:thumb:
How long can he go between service intervals and time between rebuild you reckon?

Anytime Ken, yes it isn't often someone wants one tuned down but I'm good with it! I definitely enjoyed the marine stuff for sure!

Yes Tom, Hardee's is still next door but we usually go to the Mexican place on the edge of town.

Customer is planning to run it on Mobil1 full synthetic. Which should fit nicely with Dustin Detty's [patent pending] "double shimmed means double good", LML oil pump mod.. It holds a steady 75psi at hot operating, and 35psi hot idle on the regular Delvac we tested.

So once a season oil and filter changes, or every 100hrs on the Mobil1 should be just fine. Rebuild times at this power level, 1000hrs or more.

That's a cool setup, don't know what the "detune" record is for Mark, but I'm pretty sure Id give you a run for your money on that one. I think my setup was frustrating for Mark to tune:hmm:
