LLY: 5 speed to 6 speed conversion

I have a 5 speed level 4 trans now .I want to add 6th gear to it. Is there anything else i have to do?

is there any benift when it comes to racing when having 6th gear? i know it would be better for highway driving but other then that anything?

not with suncoast's TCM...it's made specifically for economy really, i run the 5-sp tcm almost all the time

If you want to Race the 6 speed TCM will not be good at all

I've had mine in for a couple of weeks now (600 miles) and I love it! Around town I gained 1 mpg.Going on long trip in 2 weeks (highway driving).Will report back...by the way it is much quieter while cruisin' also:thumb:

Down in Florida now.Average economy was up 1mpg on trip down.One sidenote,took I81 down not I95.This is important because 81 has hills where as 95 does not.Taking 95 on way back up,will report back....
