i've been helping my brother do some work on his truck 2004 silverado 1500 ext 5.3 l , so far its got a 3/4 drop, intake, exhaust, hypertech with all the torque man. removed by me . looking for ideas on were to go from here, next to go in is a high stall converter and headers, looking for less lag below 3000 rpm what do you guys think on the stall to go with d/d something fun to hotrod around . any tuning sugestions i havnt played with the tuning on a gasser yet . i know its a broad question but want him to get the best bang for his buck my thoughts were headers, converter, higher ratio rockers or cam but dont want to do the cam high mileage and will be putting a diff motor from the ls series when it decides to go . thanks for any input guys :hug:
