this has got to be a limited group of folks running these... good luck with an answer. I don't say that to be mean or rude, just a really REALLY small group of people that have those I'd imagine so the chances of them being on here and answering that might be kinda small???

Interesting topic though. :thumb:

I know not to many people have them but there must be some....I have an idea of how to solve the problem but just wanted to see if I could get a few different ideas...

How about ball up some putty tape and sticking it on front of the oil pan and do a 4wd launch. You should be able to see how far the centerlink travels then you could do the math to see if it would hit if the pan was a half inch lower

I was looking at my work truck tonight and it is the upper part of the oil pan that it will hit....It already has an arch made into it for the centerlink from the factory...If I drop that pan down another 1/2 inch or so it will hit I'm almost for sure...

When I installed one in a 2008 4x4, I took a piece of hollow round 2 or 3 inch aluminum, cut it in half and notched the oil pan, then tig-welded the moon shaped tube in. It gave me the extra clearence that was needed.

Using the gorilla girdle we machined the upper oil pan down and ended with the same clearance as stock.

Very Nice. Looks familiar. LOL That is the same as what we had to do... Also look at the oil pickup as it might have to be adjusted to clamp tight and flat to the oil pump. I had to modify it a bit also...:(

Looks nice.:thumb: I would install a drain plug ahead of the tube you welded in so you can drain the oil from the front section though.
