I ran my truck at the track Wed night when Steve hit his 12's...

truck was in 4x4 all night...and on the last run when I launched there was no traction...spun through the 1/8mi...ate a whole bunch of rear tire up

obviously it came out of 4x4, but the the light was still on for 4 hi...

I didn't run it anymore after that...

is something about to go wrong?...did the boosted launches cause it to disengage?

just wondering if I need to start worrying about anything...

Thanks,

Pepp

Put it in 4X4 and jack one of the front tires up and see what is engaging and what isn't engaging. Try and rotate the tire with it in 4X4 and if it turns the front driveshaft then the front axle is engaging but not the T-case. If the driveshaft locks in but you can still rotate the tires then your front end isn't angaging. You could have a bad connection or something at the shift motor on the front axle.

Your plastic inserts on the TC fork may be worn to the point that it is not moving the sliding ring over the gear all the way. If it's electric controlled TC, I would get a Tech 2 and go into the TC control module and check for codes.

It should be able to pull codes if you do a module and complete DTC scan. I know I can read the fault codes that my BCM and instrument cluster module are throwing from my swap with EFILIVE. I've also read ABS codes with it. The problem is it will read the codes, but then you have to take them and look them up as it doesn't have them in it's memory.
