4X4 Problem???

When i start the truck all the lights on the 4x4 knob come on then ALL go off ...the light on the knob showing where its set is on but the orange lights are all off...then you turn the knob nothing happens...checked codes and nothing (except egr delete related)...checked fuses that seemed related...maby i missed one or its a comp/t-case problem

Any ideas???

Might haw to have the transfercase control module re-programmed

yeah im thinkin somthin like that...theres a tranny shop here I know has a tech 2 so I might see if they can take a look at it

I bet that will fix your problem:thumb:

Make sure no wires shorted out goin to the actuator on tcase... or maybe ur module just went bad

Ive seen quite a few 07/08 lmm trucks bust the lock collar in the front diff, put the truck in 4x4 and climb under and see if the drive shaft is locked in, that will tell you if the case is working or not.

dont know if theyre the same as lmm's but my truck did that when the encoder motor on the t-case went bad

I will crawl under n check it out if its not locking up ill have the shop look at the t-case/electrical setup cause she will be goin in for a few changes with the tranny in the next few weeks...if the diff is messed up i'll just tear into it and see whats goin on...maby an excuse for a locker
