4wd light stuck on

The 4wd light on my dash is stuck on, but no service 4wd lights. The truck is not in 4wd as it will break the rear tires loose. My truck has the 4wd shift on the floor, not push button. Any idea what would cause this?

Wires rubbedd together or ripped off? Have you looked for any bad wires?

transfer case and front diff. There should be a fuse you can pull i believe to see if that makes the light go out.
