My 2008 GMC (Info in sig.) has the 4L70E trans. I am looking to do some maintenance on it and add a few things. I am wanting to add a corvette servo, converter, aux. cooler, change the internal filter and build some new cooler lines. So I have a few questions:
Currently the truck has a stock 6.0L but I will eventually add a cam or swap in a cammed 6.2L, the cam will likely be a TSP 220R. Could I get away with a 2600 stall or should I go with a 3000? Also will the stock 6.0L be ok with a stall before I cam it?
The truck has 4.10 gears and may end up with 33" tires at some point. I plan on no more than 375-400 RWHP. Will the 4L70E handle that? No towing, just daily driving and maybe hauling a quad in the box.
Does anyone know the what kind of fittings go into the trans and radiator, so I can try and piece together some trans lines?
What pressure will the cooler lines see?
Thanks, I'm sure I'll have more questions, but this should be a start anyway.
