4L65E went out with a bang... need advice please

I have a '04 1500 suburban. Driving Saturday, no more than 1/2 throttle acceleration, BANG! Like, blew the rear-end out, driveshaft dragging bang.

Pulled it over. Will not move in [OD] or [3rd]. Shut car off, no difference.

Will move in [1st] and [2nd] only if selected manually. Will shift from 1 to 2 and 2-3 if done manually. Will not move (only rev) in OD and 3rd.

Seems to slip in 2nd, but not too sure, as I don't drive this regularly.

Mike L, you out there? I need some advice.. Is it toast?

You ripped the input shell out. Trans has to come out. needs some heavier parts.

That's not what I wanted to hear with a car with only 65k miles on it, and not driven hard.
