Hello everyone I would like your input on a 475 compound kit paired with a fleece cheetah. I currently am running the cheetah and am still in the fine tuning stages but here is my dillema. The charger comes on hard and makes great power but the egts go flying of the gauge quick! I am fueling the thing pretty hard but was wondering if anyone here had paired it up with a 475 kit and how that handled egt's? I had a 66/80 that handled them great but mostly wondering about how the Cheetah would work with this and who's kit would you recommend if so?:thumb:

I think Harbin22 ran a 475 over a Danville charger. Maybe he will chime in. Iirc he was damn close to 1k rwhp before the crank let go.

Do you have stock manifolds, up pipes and intercooler? With my stock charger I could hit 1500* now with my 72, manifolds, up pipes, intercooler, tubes and bridge I couldn't get my EGT's to break a 1000* today doing multiple 30-100+ runs.

Sounds good on manis and up pipes. Also on intercooler. I am running stock. Never had an issue with compounds before. Light cruise in #1 tune under load slight uphill will go 1300+. #2 will hit1600 + immediatly. Havent tried any others till I get this thing cooled down.

Something is wrong if your EGTs are getting too hight... You are probably fueling it way to heavy as well

My 68 cast cheetah with 100% and twin pumps wouldn't get over 1500 degrees. And that's with BD driver manifold, 3" Y bridge, and 3" downpipe

My stock turbo would hit 1700 (2000 once), stepped up to a billet 4094 and no change (2000 once sled pulling). Up pipes and lml manifold made no difference, egts just took longer to climb. Switched to a s475 o/stock and now egts will just touch 1500 and fall back to 1400. I have not tested since installing a billet wheel in the s475.
