Guys what do you think about 411's and drag racing?

I know they will help coming out of the hole, but could hurt me on the big end of the track. This is on a 600hp exsb 4X4.

Whats the verdict on gears? Are the 373's what I should stick with? Would 411's make this thing meaner on the street?

Thanks,

Wolf

Generaly with any turbo motor you do not want low gears, they don't put much load on the motor when launching and load is what helps spool turbos. This is one of the reasons second gear launches work better for some.

I personaly would. I look at it like a Buick. In stock form 3.73s help a little, but once you do a little work to the motor you end up going right back to 3.42s because the motor will rev faster than the turbo can. I would stick with 3.73s unless you have some real big tires. Even then I would just gear it to get back to the stock final ratio.

BTW Paul, do you like my new hair cut:D
