I've pretty much decided on getting the 3 piece tc 4" lift for my truck. I want it as close to stock leveled height as possible and still be able to do boosted launches. Question, it says maximum 4.5 inch back spacing on the wheels. I have 20x9s with a +18mm offset . that pencils out to more than 4.5. Will they work?

I have 20x10's with -12 offset I believe, and I ran 16x8.5's with 4.5" backspacing. The 16's were closer due to the smaller diameter, I think you should be fine.

so actually calculating it out, my backspace is 5.7. do you have a pretty good amount of clearance? is the new steering knuckle the issue for clearance?

you may need a wheel spacer. the new knuckle may not have enough push out to keep the tire out of the UCA/Knuckle.

This lift only drops lower control arm, upper stays in place and they give you a pair of 4" raised spindles...

I believe you will need a spacer, let me measure one of my time tonight...

which is why you cant get away with high backspaced wheels as i had stated :D. you call it a spindle, i call it a knuckle. we technically dont have spindles on our rigs as the unit bearing took that place :D

I never got a reply, so I went the other way. 3 inch drop shackles are on the way. I lowered the front end down and it launches super smooth.
