Question: -4 or -6 oil feed line?

This has been bugging the hell outa me for a while so I have to ask.4an or 6an for a s400 oil feed line?some guys run 4 and some 6 and there is a pretty big size difference between the two.This is going on the trip 475's and all 3 fed from the galley's.Id like to run 6 but is 4 enough?

I run a -6 for my s400, been like that for a year and a half, and I run a -4 for my ball bearing atmo charger.

I planned on using -6 for all 3 but have a couple really nice -4 lines,Just need to make sure I only do this once.

That's a pretty big size difference; the inspection ball size for -4 is .09 in and -6 is .203 in. Would you be starting from -4 and teeing off of that? I would run -6, but am not sure if volume or pressure would be better for this application.

I have a 90 1/4 to -6 t off the galley,so I have 2 -6 ports for the feed lines.

ball bearing turbos dont use much oil, it they are a water cooled center section they use very very little oil. journal bearing turbos need a lot more oil to not burn up the bearings.
