4" or 5" exhaust???

Hello,

I am adding EFI live to my 2008 LMM CC/LB/DW it has a bank Ram Air,My old Ford that I built had 5" but the downpipe was only 4" so what did It gain???
Will the 5" run lower EGT's????

On the Duramax there is really no benefit to going 5" except for looks and sound. I prefer 5" for the looks and sound.
