anybody had any expirience with this motor or the trailblazers for that matter my dad is thinking about buying one and i just wondered if they were anygood or what your guys opinions were

I know the oil filter is real beotch to get to..........

Never heard of too many issues with them. GM used them in both T-Blazers and the Colorados and H3 hummers. It's used a lot in that small truck platform

i like em.

They have 1 flaw. The cylinder heads... they came out with a redesigned head and valves. I beleive the valve seats crack or something happens with them. Slight misfire at idle. The new designed head completely fixes the problem as far as i am aware of.

Just something to keep in mind. Send me over the vin or maybe henry can look it up in the vin check area.

Have an 02 trailblazer 52,000 miles, starter,clutch fan, and water pump so far. It has a 3.42 rear, if I had it to do over it would be 3.73s......Hope this helps.
