3rd gear start

Can someone help walk me through tuning a 3rd gear start on a 5 speed Allison in 4lo? I havnt been able to find any info online.

Pm me if you don't want to post it here. I could send it out to get modified but I'd like to learn it myself.

In all your tables in both full throttle shifts and part throttle shifts pull the 1-2 shifts and 2-3 shifts down to 0.

Finally getting around to doing this this morning. I forgot to ask earlier about this.

Is there a way just to make it take off in third in 4lo and be normal when out of 4 lo?

This will work for now just need to flash the truck back after he pulls.

From what I have found it is hit and miss as to whether it will work or not following the tables laid out by EFIlive. My truck worked fine with leaving "D" tables alone so I could still drive it too and from pulls. But another guy I helped we had to change every table to match so it would hold 3rd gear.
