I have a 2006 2500 4wd.The shift points are about 3100rpm, and the shut off is 3500rpm.This truck is stock and only used for towing a race car. 6500lbs. car and trailer.
I was wondering if anyone has tried moving shift points and fuel shutoff out. It does not need this for towing, but seems like it would help the occasional romp.If so what rpm recommended. Pro's & con's.

Thanks for any input

TX of course
Not much of a point in raising them much more maybe 3600. My truck defuels at 4200 IIRC but I don't know that I have had it anywhere close to that.

Mine shuts down at 3500. In gear, out of gear, manuel shifts and so on. It will not turn over 3500. Does this sound right.
