nope the thermostat for the turbo is all ready threaded just need to tap the bung with the 1 1/8 hole (in the middle photo) and screw in the thermostat

i supose i could spin down a aluminum barb weld it to the bung and run coolant unregulated to the turbo whats your (and every one elss) thoughts on that?

My guess is your tapping the large bung that you welded on...correct? If you can't find a tap I would cut it off and make another than have the threads cut on a lathe and then weld it on.

Why did you make that?

moving the tube to the front of the motor gives me more room to work up a new Y bridge (wich is the next step) then the final phase is to make a true cowl induction shaker hood ( similar styling to the old Trans-Am but biger l ;)

yes that is correct yes it may come to that thats what i get for jumping ahead haha

I might be intersted in one of these pipes when you get yours installed. Should make everything alot easier to work on and free up some space for a different intake bridge.

Is the pipe going to route over the compressor or is going to extend out past compressor and closer to the fan shroud. i only say this because when working on these motors you will find your self having rol remove the compressor and roll it over to the fender to be able to work on stuff and if you have to remove that pipe everytime you need to remove the compressor it could get aggrevating.

If you continue not being able to find one, Try a place that services heavy equipment Like Bullfrog does. The way excavating equipment is going here, you should easily get someone eager to help.

I'll make a few calls monday for you, but I think you might have to send me your part instead of other way around. I'll see what I can do. 'Have about 5-6 resources.

might be able to work something out with you ( have to make shure this one will hold up and no flaws in my design first)

it comes forward and above the pulley for the AC and ends right about where the 2ed alternator is. looks like it could be shimmed out with the new coolant pipe in place .

that's always a possibility. let me know what you find

My friend reece found a nut and ground a radius into it and welded it on. Looks odd but works. I have an aftermarket turbo and am going to just plug mine and weld a regular bung in there so I can have a barbed fitting.
