As my truck is coming back together I am very tempted to switch up the wheel and tire package. I don't have the money to drop on forces but have always loved the look of BMF novakanes. I am thinking 22x10.5 death metals wrapped in 305/40s. Any pics of similar setups would be appreciated.

I would really step up to the 305/45.

I had both the 305/40 and 305/45 and the 45 rode way better and didn't look like a rubber band. Here is my old GMC on 305/45/22's

I believe they were 22x9.5, +12 offset. Not sure on back space, I know there is an online calculator where you can figure the backspace out based on offset and rim width.

I'm leaning towards the 305/40 because the 22s will be half an inch wider and -25 offset. The 305/50s I have on it now tub with -12 offset

True, I just didn't like the way it looked with so little sidewall. IIRC the 305/40's only hold about 2400lbs, which is plenty for the front of our trucks, I just didn't like they way they matched the look to the truck.

Toyo proxes show a 2601lb weight limit so that doesn't concern me. I just think the shorter tire will help with my rubbing issue. Might even allow me to go down a bit more up front and ditch the overloads out back.

Another, was just drop shackles and front bolts removed. Rubbed bad due to the - offset bit loved the look so I just lived with it lol

305/45/22 +19 offset. T bars down some with 3" shackles. Crappy phone pics but it looks good in person and no rubbing issues at all. I could get more later today if you want

I never used to be into the stance thing but I do like a little more wheel poke lately. The 45 series tires do fill the wheel well better though.

I've got 20x12s -44 with 285/55 at2s.. If they can fit you can fit what your wanting.. I have my truck trimmed considerably. I'd bet yours would clear with normal trimming.

I'm running no torsion bolts, 3" shackles and plan to remove the over load as soon as I find shorter rancho shocks

Good to know. Thanks! I need to just quit looking and buy a set but the wheels I have are perfectly fine. Than again, so was everything else I've replaced.....
