Alright Mike, got some questions and hope you maybe able to answer for me. I have an 06 LBZ 2wd and I have never been happy with the trany shift quality compared to all the 4wd trucks that we have built tranys for. What is the difference between them??? It is built exactly the same as the others but I don't have the quick firm tire squalling shifts that the 4wd's do, mine feels like stock. It holds the power but doesn't feel the way I think it should. I put one of Ben's lock up controllers in and now the convertor is staying in under full load. I installed a 4wd tcm tonight and it seems alittle better but still not what I was expecting. Is there a difference in the separator plate? Let me know what you think and I appreciate your time on this! Thanks in advance.

No difference in the trans itself. Seperator plates are the same. Give me a call.

And I'm pretty sure the TCM programming is the same as well. I know the 5 speeds use the same exact OS in the TCM for a 2 or 4 wheel drive. They are all programmed the same, they just trigger the secondary shift schedule for 4 low shifts.
