IIRC, it looks the same as a painted valence, but is colored grey. The foglight holes are there but closed off. Not sure on the towhook holes...but I think they are left open even on the w/t valence.

Thanks,

I was curious that if the recovery hook option is missing, whether the piece has the holes punched through.

All the 4x4's I've seen have the recovery hook option.

The center indention under the bumper on all three of my trucks is blocked off with a plastic plate on the back on all 3 of my of my GMC's as well. I was wonder if any of the 2001-2007 GMC's had that indention open in the back.

No, Steve Cole says I'm a dirty rotten lying cheater because I blocked the radiator opening that is under the bumper on Casper. That is illegal for LSR competition.

Problem is, I can't find ANY model or year of GMC or Chevy Duramax Pickup that has a radiator opening under the front bumper. None of our trucks have had one.

You would be correct. The painted GMCs all have that black plastic molded/ribbed "cover" over the middle lower of the airdam. Im pretty sure the worktruck's are grey. I cant say Ive ever seen one different, even in the 1500s

Dont let Cole get to you. He's just not worth it.

The problem is, he's posting on a board where all the SCTA tech inspectors read. If we want to continue to race LSR, it's important that they know I'm not a cheat.

To those who don't know Cole, he comes off as a very experienced racer in all kinds of competition because he reads the internet. He doesn't tell them he doesn't race, and is actually a professional spectator with no competition licenses in any organization.

I would run the PowerLoader3, except the brutal acceleration might actually damage the crust of the earth and cause an earthquake.

In a small way, Steve's failure to release the PL3 might have saved California from falling into the ocean.

Thanks Steve!!

Oh, we're talking about that. Didn't you guys add the extra little 2" rubber "airdam" under the front fascia that some 1500's have? Could that be what he's really talking about?? If so, isnt he FOS because thats an OEM part?

Is the drag racer trick where they tape all the seams on a vehicle to reduce wind drag legal?

As for that last part, there are a lot of us that fall into that category for different reasons, present company included. :(

Only thing I could think of is the filler panel between the grille and bumper??? I wish Pat was still over on CompD so I could watch Cole act like a 2 year old with down sendrom. OT couldn't you and Rich just make up Pat??
