Guys,

A regular cab lly 4x4 long bed is for sale locally for 4500, with some body damage that can be repaired but it will be some work/money to get it nice. The kicker is that it only has 6k original miles. I thought it would be a good buy.

Should I pick it up?

At that price the drivetrain is worth the money.. That said before you get into fixing it take a couple things into consideration. Is the frame Bent? Does it have a salvage title? did the air bags deploy? Biggest issue of those 3 is if its a salvage title it will never be worth what it should be regardless of how well its fixed..

a 7-8 year old truck with only have 6k miles..? I'd definitely go check it out and make sure nothing else is wrong with the truck besides the body damage. I know a guy who sold his Chevy 8.1 with 200k but right before he sold it I saw the truck and the clock read 90k. Not sure if he bought a used cluster with 90k on it or what but his miles were turned back. Just be observant, a truck with that little miles should probably have original tires, steering Shpuld be nice and tite, brakes should be very fresh etc. unless he totally beat the hell out of it. ...

If all looks good with it and you don't buy it let me know because I will:thumb:

Thanks, and if i dont buy ill post something here in case anyone else is interested.

The truck definitely has some issues but from what I can tell there is no frame damage, just body issues. From the pictures you can tell the truck has sat for years. Dust even on the interior is thick. It has potential Im just worried about the seals/gaskets sitting for that long.

Ill let you all know what happens. For the price i dont think I can scrutinize it much
