I ran a set of toyo m/t's in that size on my first 05. They look nice and fit great but wore really fast because of how narrow they are I'm guessing.

I had a set of BFG KM MTs (old ones) in that size. Got 45k out of them with sprited driving. Only switched size because I got h2 wheels. My truck got great MPG with them too.

I ran a set of BFG KM2 on PYO factory wheels, my truck is leveled with the T bars cranked 2", i got about 30k out of them, i really liked them, only issue i had is when pulling a heavy trailer full of gravel, 12k ish, truck had a "squishy" feel, guessing due to the taller sidewall, as my 295/75/16's dont do that.

That's not how it works. Your new tires still have a taller sidewall
