I'm going with some 22x12 -44 xd grenades on my lmm. So my question is what should I go with for tire size and why? Gonna try out the toyo proxes st in either 305/40 or 305/45.

Is your rig lifted, leveled or on stock height? My buddy's leveled truck has 33's on a set of 22x12 Fuel wheels. I know he did some minor trimming.
