I am running my ppe on level 5 with stock wastegate and ppe increase valve. New injectors and still could only manage to pull 21psi. I pulled the hose coming from the turbo to the wastegate and plugged it. Still only 21 psi. Also i have seen pics of these guys on here running the same set up with tons of smoke and my is not near as much as theirs
.

The pickup is on the hose between the turbo and the increase valve on the tube going to the wastegate. I took the big head off because i couldnt get it set right. But i plugged the line going to the turbo and still nothing.

Too hot i can get up to 1200 quick. And i have to let out because i can hit 1300 easy too.

let it go for it and see how high it gets .... it sounds like its getting plenty of heat/fuel though . sounds like you have a boost leak to me .

I just took a spin and it wont go over 1300. Maybe its the ic leaking. Is there any way to pressure check it with out the truck running? Like a smoke test or something?

if it wont go over 1300 you are probably not giving it enough fuel/ heat to create more boost. if the power feels normal then i wouldnt worry , you will need a lift pump at some point running the ppe tuner. also the boost valve will not change anything untill you reach like above 25-28 psi when the wastegate would normaly open , it just fools it to opening later .

i bought some 2.5" pvc plugs from the hardware store and tapped one for a 1/4" air fitting .... i pulled the boost boot of the y bridge and installed the plug with the air fitting onto it . then installed the seeled plug on the boot that is for the outlet of the turbo . then hook up an air line regulated to 40 psi . pressurize ... if it holds you just checked everything besides the motor/turbo .

Double check the reference line to your boost gauge. I had a leak in mine. Only said i was running 24psi with the wastgate disconnected, so I left it at that. A week later *POP*....

If your running a boost valve like the PPE one you can not get your boost reading from the Wastegate line you put the valve in.;) The boost valve is just a controled leak that slows the reaction of the wastegate. You need to measure boost pressure at the intake neck by either drilling and tapping for a fitting or using a SuperDiesel manifold.
