Okay so how much trimming will I have to do with a 20x12 -44 offset wheel? Can I use the stock fender flares? Maybe do a fender mod or have a body shop do it? I really want these wheels with a deep lip. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373471529.952734.jpg

Also will these wheels work with a 305/50/r20 tire? (Nitto 420s)

that would look terrible IMO!

would look like the trucks with the tires sticking out a foot on each side..

I love that look!! Fords and dodges can pull off stock height/slightly lowered with 20x12's on 305/50's. it looks mean as hell. On a chevy/gmc it's almost impossible without lots of fender fabrication work to not rub so bad lol.

Thank you captain obvious lol:roflmao:

they will not fit without lots of fender cutting my 305/55/20 on a 20x10 with -25 wouldn't clear perfect with it leveled 2.5" higher then stock

Hey that's what im good for lol

I think it looks decent on the ford but will not look good on a chevy

How much fabrication? Could I make it work with stock fender flares?

No that I could see you have to change the shape to much there's a guy with a lmm here that did 20x12 in the same wheel (not a -44 offset iirc it was -25 or something) and 305/55s and he cut 2" of fender and reshaped it a little on a leveled truck.

you can make them fit I'm sure but its to what extent you wanna cut and fab

You don't have to worry about it rubbing the control arm. It will rub everywhere else. I have 20x12 -44 off set and it's on 35s lifted six inches and it still rubs at full lock and I cut the bumper. I had 305/50/20 with the torsion bars level with a 0 offset. And had to do the fender mod and it rubbed my valence

There is another guy on this forum with a black crew cab OBS Duramax lowered with the same wheel size and offset you are looking for... Try and find him... He has a pic from the left side of his truck and is kinda smokey looking pic... Hope this helps!

You are going to get such a head ache from trying to make them fit that you'll give up after it beats your fenders apart. I tried to stay low with 20x10 -12 but it just wasnt having it. Trimmed bumper and didn't rub there but rubbed no matter what on the inner fender. Trimmed, banged, cut. Nothing helped. Now imaging trying to be low with a wheel that's going to stick out roughly 2.5" more than mine.

This is the setup I'm going with but I have a six inch lift that I'm lowering down... But here is a couple pics I found, I think on here, awhile back... I think it's an aggressive look that these trucks pull off if you can make it fit

Thank you! I'll sacrifice some rubbing up front for the stance I was looking for :roflmao:
