Who has done this and do you have any pictures? What did you have to do to the brackets? This is what I would like to do in this pic. Thx

I have to agree, your truck.. but man my first impression is it looks pretty stupid. Seems like you'd have to modify quite a bit though but maybe not.?

The plans are paint my grill black. Paint the bumper white and the lower center part black. Rear bumper will be white as well to match the rest of the truck. In my head it looks pretty good...:)
I also have a 2001 HD hood that I've already cut to fit my truck.

X3, it's your money and truck but man it looks awful. It 's not like a 4th gen bumper on a 2nd gen dodge where it looks halfway OK, this just looks wrong.

Not gonna comment my thoughts, but you’re probably not going to find much info on it. Definitely going to be some very custom brackets and fabbing involved and probably some slicing somewhere.

Why do I keep doing this?

Moved to Appearance and Detail.

Unless you could make a grill to fit correctly, it just doesnt look right. I wouldnt do it.

TX of course
The rear bumper brackets are the same so maybe the front is too. Or at least similar. I’m sitting in my ‘15 GMC so I snapped a pic.
