If your comparing a stock lily to your lml id say that is hard to believe. The lml rolls out of the factory with ~80 more hp than an lly...

I noticed a big difference from my 2015 and my tuned LBZ. The sluggishness was beginning to get irritating. My biggest problem was the amount of pedal needed to get the truck moving. I tried a throttle booster and I'm pretty happy with it.

any EFI tuning, whether is emissions compliant or delete will get rid of the dead pedal feel. that is about the worst part of the new trucks is the lazy throttle pedal.

Yea takes lots of throttle to get the new trucks moving. I've noticed that as well. They go, just have to really let em have it.

They intentionally setup the throttle for emissions purposes. It's easy to make it responsive.

The lly had gutted cat no muffler, ppe pulled the motor to do heads with arps ported fuel rail lbz mp pcv re route turbo dp efi live mileage tune. But night and day difference. Seems like the new truck only moves if I put the pedal to the meda. Otherwise its real smooth and gay.

It is a federal regulation. There are ways to tune the truck and eliminate those items or you can have some nice emissions tuning as well that will have plenty of throttle response. Most any if the tuners can fix it for you. A lot if the guys will not touch non emission tuning officially.

It's a box that plugs into the throttle pedal and alters the signal. 5% throttle from your foot is amplified to the computer. Really wakes the truck up and I don't have to deal with warranty issues because the computer never gets touched....There are a few companies out there that makes them....

Kind of the way the first gen Duramaxes were tuned except you plug in at the pedal instead of under the hood.....

JMS electronics and BD Diesel sell them for around 300.00. I went with the JMS because you can adjust it and it seems better built. PN is 1015GMT...
