I would like to hear from people who still have a completely stock 15 and who have deleted as well. I'm interested in average fuel mileage, interior opinions as far as comfort and room.

I love my zf6 truck but I'm considering getting a regular cab long bed as more of a toy and a 15 ccsb for towing and daily driving. I would be getting a fully loaded one if I decide to get one, iv only drove a couple so just looking for more long term opinions than I can provide. I just don't want to get rid of mine for a 15 and regret it. I can't have all of them I already have to many vehicles on my insurance than I would like. Thanks in advance

Best truck I've ever owned. You, like myself will say I will leave it stock....

You won't, trust me. Haha. Drives incredibly, handles heavy loads even better, interior is very comfortable, durability is good, I have 45k on mine with zero issues after the delete.

I bought a 15 High Country 2500 . I Luv it ! The ride is smooth , handles great , pulls great . Extremely comfortable. Luv the saddle leather interior. Took a road trip from Dallas Tx to Houston , traffic was running 90--95 MPH almost all the way there . I hand calculated the MPG , it did 17.8 even at that speed . It's bone stock and staying that way ! It's my daily driver . I have my 06 in my Sig to play around with .

This is my 11th duramax and by far the best. Ive had lly, lbz, lmm, and several 11-14 lmls

2015.5 Denali Duramax Deleted 17-19 highway i am leveled on toyo mt 33s

Truck drives great, pulls great, and the interior is very roomy and plenty of storage. I also like on the denalis that the interior dash lights are red which look alot nicer then the traditional blue green dash lights.

I expected that response from smokin but not from the rest of you lol. And your right, I'm not even going to say I will leave it stock, I'm sure I will mess with it sooner or later. To smokin- did you delete because you had an issue or just to get rid of all the junk? Also I'm curious if you got the same stronger smell of diesel if you done a full egr delete as the older models seemed to produce?

I'm happy to hear they are more than tolerable in Stock form in case I don't want to delete right away.
To get that mpg running 90mph you should hold on to that truck for sure. I would be happy with averaging 17 at 75 with a stock truck. The best my truck has got was 21.7

If you get rid of the dpf it will smell like a diesel again. Thanks to advancements in injectors and pumps it is greatly improved over older models, but on cold mornings you will possibly see and smell diesel for a while until it gets warmed up enough.

Dpf's are leaps and bounds better than they used to be, still some downsides but I would say far more tolerable than the early stuff.

Keep in mind the truck was empty no weight at all except for driver ,passenger and 2 small travel bags, topped it off before we left and topped it off when we got there and then did the hand calculations .

Yea I figured it was unloaded but that's still better than I saw stock trucks getting when they came out in 11 and 12. Your in the exact situation I want to be in lol. Iv done quite a bit to my 06 but it's not my daily driver either. But with the competition clutch in it, it gets old taking on long trips with shifting constantly. Like in February I go to Atlanta every year for supercross and in that traffic my truck is more of a burden. Especially this year it took twice as long to get there with tons of construction on 75 and I spent probably 4 hours in stop and go traffic going from 2nd to 4th. Ideally I'd like to find a rclb and swap in a zf6 , do a short bed conversion and maybe years later take a run at the record for fastest manual. Least then I'd have a reliable tow vehicle in my 15 and still have fun with a manaul trans duramax .

I actually found the exact model I wanted down to the last detail at a local dealer. I went to get my girl and go drive it and talk price and found out they sold it 45 minutes after I left.

Love my 15.5 to death. Quiet inside and out. Averaging 17.5ish now but it only has 2k miles on it.

Leaps and bounds ahead of my '13 and my older trucks...damn thing better be!

I'm completely satisfied with mine.

Love my 15! Interior is great, ride is great, mileage is great, power sucks compared to my lbz but that's not a fair comparison. Only complaint I have is I don't get to drive it enough!!!

Yea I worry about power too. I'm sure the lml would be a beast if I modded it the same way my other trucks were but I'm looking at the truck as a whole. I loved the way the 15 ram drove with air ride from the factory, do the 15 duramaxes tow better than previous years stock ? As far as ride goes. Iv got a tandem axle enclosed trailer I tow and will be getting a camper also.
