I have a 2012 LML Denali with PPEI tuning. Since I got it tuned, its always been on sport economy tune (for about 6000 miles now). Lately its been shifting into 6th gear a little funny and makes me concerned. The best way I can describe it, is it sounds like a dry shift. When it shifts into 6th I almost feel like a very slight quick vibration only for a second, but I can feel it. This does not happen all the time. Just every now and then. It happens under normal driving, when I have it to the floor it shifts fine. Not too worried about it, just wonder what it might possibly be.

Sounds more like a TCC chatter. The TCC doesn't like anything over 800 ft lb tq. It will begin to break the clutch lining apart. The internal friction clutches in the Alli are worthless.
You won't see too many limps with the LML as the TCM is not bashfull at pulling big power out of the engine to protect the trans. I've seen guys lower their et's in the LML by 3 to 5 tenths with just a pressure box from Ben.
Just remember the pressure box is a band aid if you're going to play hard with power. It will fail regardless.

Thanks Mike. Im not really that hard on it, I just like the sport/econ tune the best, but the feeling of it jamming itself into gear every now and then is annoying. Nobody else riding in my truck would notice but me. I guess one of those boxes is probably a good thing to have anyway. Can I get one from you or should I just order one right from Ben? How long does it take to install? After it shifts through all the gears does the pressure drop again? Or does it always at 250 no matter what?
