From a DIY thread posted by Dutchpilot on the DP, I bought some new GM/Chevy led cab lights for my truck. I made my own wiring harness, which was just 18 gauge red & black wire, heat shrink, solder, and female pins to fit the factory lights. I wired them up with a simple on/off switch, which was connected to the overhead light's 12V source. Dropped the front half of the headliner down for access and the rest went smoothly.

Used a 7/8" hole saw for the side lights, a 1/2" inch drill bit for the center light, and the screw holes were drilled with a 1/8" bit. I made the templates from the lights themselves. Dutchpilot included all the measurements. The lights are 6" back from the curvature of the windshield. The side lights are 4" over from the side of the roof. The roof is 54 inches across and the center of the center light is mounted at 27". These measurements are for the NBS trucks 07.5+. It was a fun project.

Looks good. I put the recon smoked ones on mine to. It's so hard to drill into you truck. I must have spent two days measuring and marking and standing back looking and a beer to calm my nerves before I drilled lol.

It's definately a sobering experience drilling into your roof. After the first hole went smoothly, I felt a sigh of relief.
