2008 duramax LMM Edge programmer

I want to put a Edge Evolution on my 2008 chevy 2500, but want to do a DPF delete. Will the Edge stop the regen codes? I was told to go with EFI live and buy the Edge to monitor what goes on with the truck. I want to add the EGT pob. I was not looking to spend $690 for EFI and another $400 for a monitor.

I am looking for more power to pull my 13,000 lb fifth wheel.

Long story short..

No the edge will not work unless you find an older race programmer for sale. The new ones will not do dpf deletes

I have an older edge race programmer I pulled off an lmm that we did efi live on.
