2008 dmax 3500

okay i have a buddy that has a 2008 3500 dual rear. he said that when he pulls a pretty good load it runs hot (260 was the top earlier today) and that the tranny gets up there to..

is this normal or is it potentially a problem, he was pulling a 45' enclosed car hauler. pretty big. and it was empty.

I have the same truck. I thought mine was running hot too.......until I installed my Edge EVO CTS. The stock temp gauge in my truck was WAAAAY off. The truck will show about 30-40 degrees hotter than my Edge monitor.
