2008 2500HD cruise control issue

I've been working on this problem a few days and can't seem to fix it. It has a code of p0571 and cruise control doesn't work. I've replaced the brake module twice and at first the cruise control works, but soon it fails and throws code again.

questions:

1. can someone message me a pic of there brake pedal showing position and location of brake module?

2. can the module be accidently installed backwards?

3. is there an adjustment to module that needs to be made?

4. any other possible causes?

I had an issue with my CC working intermittently and after a few months of research and putting it off I found that something could be wrong with my brake switch. I replaced it and have not had a problem since. Didn't think the brake switch would have anything to do with my CC but sure enough that solved it.

X3 on brake switch. Replace with an Ac delco one
