Hey folks, Back on 7/1, I posted I had a tensioner pulley seize and toss the serpentine belt. Well got all that fixed, but some other problems arose. 1. the stereo, it has no true volume acts like it has no amp ( original stereo), it actually worked 2x's since the incident on 7/1, but if you shut the truck off it was back to no amplitude. 2. mileage, it's stuck at 15.1 MPG and I had been getting 17+ on the highway and that was with a Durmaxmiler where I dumped the +70 tune in the trucks computer. Is there a chance I scrambled some stuff when the belt popped of the Alternator? I've unhooked both batteries to try and reset everything, but the radio came back with the stations and current time, so that didn't work. Any thoughts? I've got a trip coming up with it ( she is not an everyday driver.).

As a follow up, and I am really showing my ignorance, but could their be a variance in diesel from 1 service station than another that would effect mileage? I have this summer fall etc. Been getting my fuel at the same Kroger station, where as before I would get it at the Walmart fuel center across town.

Start checking your fuses and relays. Might be a coincidence. Look if the belt damaged anything in its way out?

The DIC isn't accurate with mileage. Just calculate it by hand

Reset my average MPG in the DC before trip, average is 19.3 MPG for trip (including now mostly city driving), saving fuel receipts for total trip, be around 1900 miles, all looking good. Stereo still down.
