2007-2008 Bumper Question (part numbers maybe)

Will the painted front bumper end caps that I see on the 1500's (not sure if they are on the 2500's) fit the 2500 HD trucks.

I have painted my front end caps but rock chips take paint right off. Instead of repainting, I figure the factory painted ones will hold up a lot better....

I am not sure if the 1500's will work but they look shorter to me.. I just got a wt model bumper from the salvage yard and grill and having that painted.

Mine is painted as well 3M clear filmover the bumper after painted

why not bedline it? that stuff can take some abuse... once bedlined paint over with factory paint...

Mike have you thought about those clear films? I think StarShield armor might have been one brand that makes the clear film iirc

I just bought a new bumper from ebay and taking it to my powdercoater and having it sandblasted and coated to match the truck. I just didn't want to use the stock chrome as it would sluff off like your seeing but with it sandblasted nice clean surface to go to, as it will be alot more durable
