Allison 6sp: 2006 Allison transmission

Hey I have a 2006 gmc Sierra 2500Hd and I was wondering how much horse power the stock transmission can handle because I wanna get a custom tune.

They can handle 500+ for a little while lol but I would stop at 425 hope this helps

Depends on how many times a day ya like to drop the hammer . Mine has lasted about 12,000 miles, running a 500hp tune . However my torque converter clutch is no more and i like to drop the hammer... alot :baby:. If ya want it to live get the right tuning and try to control your foot:thumb:. I gotta put a leash on mine sometimes .
