I am hoping once again this is the correct forum, I am doing a custom re-power using a 2008 LMM, I want to use the factory cluster as I had seen on another build BUT.......
The other build used a 2006 (LBZ?) cluster and there is a difference that would make it MUCH easier to do if I can use a 2006-7 cluster, is this possible wityh the LMM ECM/TCM?
If nothing else can someone post the 06-07 cluster connector pin-out so I can see if they are even close?
THANKS!!!!!

I am far from an expert on the subject, but I believe I remember something about the communication protocol between modules changed with the mid year 07 body style change. Being that the cluster uses a data wire rather than individual wires that send data to each gauge, it won't work if they don't speak the same language. I know there are a few guys in here who are more familiar with the topic; maybe one of them will chime in.
