Hi there… I am new to the forum and I am having a bit of trouble navigating on where exactly to post my question…

I am contemplating buying an 2006.5 duramax LBZ.. However #4 and #6 injectors had high balance and all the injectors are going to be getting replaced… This happened at about 100,000K.. Is this a huge concern or a sign that the rig was potentially abused? Its seems like injectors should last longer than 100k.. any help or advice?

The LBZ motor don't normally have injector problems. It's possible there was bad fuel ran through It and trashed the injectors. Shouldn't be any issues after replacing them.

master cylinder and hydro boost

How about the master cylinder and hydroboost leaking? Is this something that I should be concerned about with the purchase of the truck? Or could these problems be due to normal wear and tear?

If they are getting replaced with good quality injectors by the owner it should be ok. As far as the Hydra-boost, if it ain't leaking now I wouldn't worry about it.

Dirty Hooker Diesel makes a nice braided line kit for hydro boost repair, I wouldn't worry too much about it if it is leaking...

And if the owner is replacing ALL the injectors, just make sure to ask for the repair invoice, not only for your comfort but also to have for your maintenance records on the truck in case there's an issue in the future.
