Sorry i think this might be my first post not sure where something like this might go. What i have is a 2005 duramax with intake exhaust, efi live and egr delete. Truck is lacking power and when towing 2 rzr's I had to pull over on small hills because trans was heating up. I am assuming because it didnt have the power it was shifting alot. Any ideas for me?

Check your fuel filter. If you are down on power you may have a plugged fuel or air filter. This would cause you to shift more not having the power to sustain speeds. Trans will heat up more towing up hill and shifting alot. Check the basics fuel filter and air filter. Be sure and post your findings so others can also use your information. Good Luck.

You could have gotten a bad batch of fuel. Changing the filter is the cheapest (relative) and easiest thing to start with. Did the truck set any codes?
