Yes, You can disable the VATS.
The real question is why is it doing this? was something replaced?

the car have one problem.
when it is below 7 degress celsius, it start and dies after 2-3 sek. leave key in ignition for 2min, until security lamp stop blinking and fire straight up.
when its above 8 degress celsius it fire straight up and runs.
car have only one key.
don't remember kode number, but anti teft system not communication.
