On 2002 in sig, the driver's side window will not roll down. I can hear the electronics click on (sounds like a relay clicking) with the auto-down feature but either the power isn't getting the motor or the motor is shot. The power mirrors don't seem to work anymore either. I always figured the switch/board was bad but maybe that was the motors in the mirror too?

Figure I'd mention that the pass. window still rolls down using the driver's side controls (same switch panel/board as driver's side) if that helps anyone offer advice.

How can I check whether my bad part is the switch/board or window motor or something else?

This was my problem in my LBZ with the under dash control panel, the burnt spot. I changed nearly everything except the box itself but eventually had to change it. Close to the same issue your having. Maybe this can help

pull the door panel off, leave the switches connected and unplug the plug at the motor. push the down button and see if one of the terminals has power, then push up and see if the other side has power. if they alternator and one shows power when down and other shows power when up, its the motor. if you dont have power, its something else and your going to have to back trace wires. my money is on the motor though.

The system is designed to send power to one terminal-- And ground the other terminal-- when pressing the button to go down.

To go up, it reverses the polarity to the motor-- and the "ground' terminal is hot, and the "Power" terminal is ground.
You could also use jumper wires to test the motor.

Connecting a meter to the motor terminals will show if there is a problem with the motor or the switch--just as Chevy 1925 noted.

Disconnect the motor and put power and ground the the terminals of the motor,This will tell you where the prob is.Also the wires crack and break under the rubber in the door jam from constant bending.Fixed lots of these working in a body shop. You'll find it with a little diggin!
