Thanks! I really appreciate it. I will cross check the number and find out if it's the same as the one the dealer told me. It was 333$ if that was the right number!
On another note was it also used in the Tahoe/Yukon between 2001-2002? Makes it for a really rare part to find at scrapyard.
Ben you have a part # and a can i get mine from the same place? i have a ccsb 04.Thank you.You can get it from www.partszoneonline.com for $180
No, the only vehicles that got steering wheel controls before 2003 were the "Y91-luxury" vehicles. IE, escalade and denali only. 2002 and older tahoes/suburbans/silverados/etc were not available with steering wheel controls (it wasnt an option).
2003 was when they made steering wheel controls available across the whole fullsize truck/suv line.

I misunderstood i broke my clock Spring when i had the entire steering parts out of the truck i have steering wheel controls and am trying to find a cheap sorce for the clock spring.a part number for adding steering wheel controls to your truck? or?
from what I can find, the clockspring you need is part number 26101828. This should be for a single-stage airbag (HD truck), with steering wheel controls.
Wow its $375 from partszoneonline.com and over $500 dealer retail cost. Might be worth it to check junkyards...
