Good morning,

I would like to know what is the GM part number for the clockspring that would fit my 2002 so I could also hook up my audio controls.

Thanks in advance!

I went to the dealership and they mentionned a 2 way and a 4 way clockspring. Now the parts guy was leaning more towards the 4 way but I am not sure... Help!

The part number you need is 26087300.

This is a "rare" part because it was only used for 2 years, and used ONLY on the 2001-2002 escalade/denali.

Make sure your dealer doesnt order a clockspring for a 2003+ truck. They are completely different.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I will cross check the number and find out if it's the same as the one the dealer told me. It was 333$ if that was the right number!@ Couldn't really believe it. How come is that little plastic part 333$ when you can buy whole computers for that much now. I was lucky to find mine at 120$ which included a whole steering wheel and controls! Worst part is that I am not even sure if the clockspring is the issue.

On another note was it also used in the Tahoe/Yukon between 2001-2002? Makes it for a really rare part to find at scrapyard.

You can get it from www.partszoneonline.com for $180

No, the only vehicles that got steering wheel controls before 2003 were the "Y91-luxury" vehicles. IE, escalade and denali only. 2002 and older tahoes/suburbans/silverados/etc were not available with steering wheel controls (it wasnt an option).

2003 was when they made steering wheel controls available across the whole fullsize truck/suv line.

from what I can find, the clockspring you need is part number 26101828. This should be for a single-stage airbag (HD truck), with steering wheel controls.

Wow its $375 from partszoneonline.com and over $500 dealer retail cost. Might be worth it to check junkyards...
