First off, hauled the toy hauler and sami up north this weekend for some fun in the cinders. on the way back, the metal nipple that wastegate hose clamps onto on the side of the stock turbo blew out. popped it back in and did it again. i wound up putting some grooves in it with a pair of pliers and used a big hose clamp to hold the fitting in the rest of the way home.
anyone had that happen to them? im thinkin im just gunna jb weld it in.
next question is, those with stock twin setups, what are you seeing for total boost towing up a hill at say, 1200-1300* EGT? 28-30psi seems aweful low to me but then again, thats not WOT either, closer to 3/4-7/8 throttle.
