Allison 5sp: 2 Plug to 1 plug NSBU

Question for some of those that know more about the wiring on these than I do. Would it be possible to rewire an LB7 style NSBU for an LLY style nsbu? I get sick of fighting those stupid glued in plugs every time I take the trans out and I need a new NSBU anyways as a "lent" it to a buddy.

Just curious.

I believe the new ones do not have that glue crap in it, the new one I got didnt anyways. You just have to heat up the plug and wipe off the access. Mine I can just pull right out now.

I know what you mean, that stuff SUCKS trying to get heated up enough to pull out of there.
